Speaking at Women in Tech Global Conference 2026

  • I wanted to share some news. I will be speaking at the Women in Tech Global Conference 2026 this May.

My session is called The Messy Middle: Career Longevity in Tech. By “messy middle,” I am not talking about age or being close to the end of a career. I mean the point where a long tech career stops being linear and starts getting complicated, even though there is still a lot of road ahead.

We talk a lot about growth and success in tech, but much less about this part. The stretch where layoffs, economic downturns, ageism, health changes, and role compression can pile up. Where your title or path no longer matches your experience, and it can feel personal even when it is not.

My talk draws on more than 25 years of my own work across software development, SaaS, technical education, nonprofit leadership, and consulting. Not as a highlight reel, just as a long view across different cycles and roles.

I am grateful to the Women in Tech Network for making space for conversations like this, and I am looking forward to sharing the session during the virtual part of the conference, running May 12 to 15.

If this topic resonates, you can find the session details on the Women in Tech conference site.
