Spring Project Update: Arts, Adventure, and Emerging Tech

  • It has been a busy season at RetroDev Studio. My recent work has focused on maintaining deep roots with long-term partners while expanding the studio’s expertise into the critical fields of AI and security.

Supporting the Arts: Northern Rockies Arts Council

Maintaining digital ecosystems for non-profits requires a balance of stability and evolution. I recently completed a series of site updates across the Northern Rockies Arts Council’s web properties. These updates ensure their platforms remain secure and accessible, allowing the council to focus on their mission of fostering community through the arts rather than managing technical debt. There are still more updates to come, but this latest round is finished.

    Launching Adventure: Connected Coast Adventures

I am pleased to announce that the site development for Connected Coast Adventures is officially wrapping up. While the project scope shifted and we did not end up providing the branding services, the final web build provides a robust, user-friendly foundation for their adventure-based offerings. The site is now live and ready to connect travelers with coastal experiences.

The New Frontier: AI and Cybersecurity

Beyond client builds, RetroDev Studio is evolving. I have been increasingly involved in AI training and development, exploring how generative tools can be practically integrated into technical workflows without the usual hype.

To complement this, I have also begun focused training in cybersecurity. As the digital landscape becomes more complex, I want to ensure the strategic advice I provide – and the systems I build – are grounded in modern security frameworks and risk management.

    What’s Next?

The studio is moving toward a model that prioritizes high-level technical consulting and digital strategy. Whether you are a non-profit needing a systems overhaul or a business looking to navigate the intersection of AI and security, I am here to help you find a clear path forward.
